Prunella Vulgaris Salve

P. Vulgaris is a wild herb commonly know as "heal-all and/or self-heal."  It has been used for centuries for all kinds of ailments and first aid.  This herb has been infused in olive oil for several weeks, and this infusion turned into a usable salve. This salve also contains organic beeswax, know for its ability to create a protective barrier over the skin. Shea butter is a natural anti-inflammatory reducing redness and swelling. It also helps the skin retain moisture during the healing process, making it great for sunburns, chapped lips, and irritated, dry skin.  Vitamin E oil is not only an anti-inflammatory, but it promotes the production of collagen which can help reduce scarring and strengthen the skin barrier. Lavender essential oil is a well-known healing oil that is said to speed up healing, promote collagen production, is antimicrobial, and has anti-inflammatory properties. This salve has the light, sweet scent of lavender and early summer. Safe for all skin types and all ages.  Our salve can also be used on pets and livestock!
